Sustainability is a buzzword used by many companies these days. Our family business was already environmentally conscious even before sustainability was “in fashion”. We think this is only logical considering the range of products we offer: down bedding is a purely natural product that has a long lifespan if it is well cared for.<\/p>\n This means that important principles for a sustainable lifestyle are already integrated into our merchandise. We are consistently pursuing this approach: we are continuously reviewing and improving the framework conditions in our company, the products and all our resources so that we can keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. We try to avoid materials that are not recyclable whenever possible.<\/p>\n We invest in state-of-the-art machinery because state-of-the-art machines work much more efficiently. This allows us to conserve valuable resources.<\/p>\n Made in Germany: We make all our products in Altenberge, Westphalia. This allows us to avoid environmentally damaging transportation from other regions of the world and to better control compliance with our sustainability standards.<\/p>\n Climate protection is also important to us within business segments in which the CO2 relevance is not obvious at first glance. We are increasingly using organic cotton and attach great importance to the highest quality standards: our covers are exceptionally down- and feather-proof, fade-resistant, sweat-resistant and colour-fast, as well as light- and friction-resistant. This means that all our covers are very durable.<\/p>\n We were the first feather bedding factory to be awarded the Blue Angel for our andeo collection, the German Government’s environmental label for the highest requirements in terms of eco-balance.
